Madana Mohan, our Senior Airlines Consultant cum Trainer is someone who has spent and devoted a major part of his life to the aviation industry. His 37 years has seen him working Malaysian Airlines (MAS),Etihad Airways and Jet Airways (Mumbai),some of the leading airlines in the industry.

Madana started his career in 1971 as a cabin crew with the Malaysia Singapore airlines (MSA), the predecessor of MAS and SIA. With the split of MSA into two entities, he opted to join MAS to be based in Kuala Lumpur. He worked himself from being a Flight attendant to become the In-flight supervisor (IFS) 1985.

He assumed the post of an In-flight Training Executive in 1990. Besides conducting classroom training, this position needed him to conduct In-flight audit check of crew as well. He was part of the team that won MAS a number of accolades, the major one being ‘Best Cabin Crew in the World’.

Training was his forte and upon his retirement from MAS, he was invited to join Etihad Airways, the national airline of UAE as a Cabin Crew Trainer to be based in Abu Dhabi. In his three years tenure with Etihad, he played a major role in the initial setting up of the cabin crew department of the airline.

After spending three wonderful years of training crew from a number of countries,he took a break to take a well earned rest.

Having spent such a long time in the airline industry it was indeed difficult for him to take that intended break.

The lure of the industry was too strong t resist.and within two months of leaving Etihad Airways, Madana joined Jet airways ( Mumbai) as a Trainer cum In flight Check Executive. He spent about two years with Jet Airways before assuming his current position of Senior Airline Consultant cum trainer with Inter-Excel.

• Qualified Tourist Guide with MTC
• Delivery of training to support MAS Service Excellence Initiates
• Monitoring and assessing crew performance standard through in flight appraisals
• Sat on the board of cabin crew interview for the respective airlines
• Developed Training modules and syllabi for different levels of cabin crew
• Team member for the development work on B747,B737,DC-10 and A330/A340
• Master trainer for IMPACT- a courtesy programme for all from liners of MAS.
