“Starting up this centre was a dream come true...”
Starting up this centre in 1997 was a dream come true for Mr. Hilary, who was running an English Language centre then. "What happened was that one day, we had an unusual number of students who came in requesting for oral classes, which involved public speaking and presentation skills," he says.
He later discovered that these students were going for airline interviews and needed help in speaking English more fluently. Catering exclusively to them eventually became too much to handle.
Mr. Hilary then requested help from elite and experienced airline professionals to devise a program with relevant airline modules. Today, the parent company doubles as a training centre for cabin crew hopefuls and also operates as an airline placement centre. Inter-Excel is also proud to be associated with various airlines such as Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Gulf Air as well as Oman Air.
Our first client, Qatar Airways, grew from leaps and bounds into a world renowned five-star airline. When we first started, it was just another airline in its infancy. We are proud to have recruited more than a thousand aviation staff for them, comprising of cabin crew, cockpit crew, engineers, ramp agents, flight dispatchers, airport ground staff and many more.
Today, we are the ONLY company that specializes in aviation manpower support for international airlines. Our company deals with a niche market, and therefore it is no surprise that airlines such as Etihad Airways, Royal Jordanian Airlines, Oman Air and others continue to use our services. Recently, we were engaged by Oman Air and Etihad Airways to recruit in Europe, specifically in Ukraine, Belarus, Romania and Bulgaria. We will not stop there, and our efforts to continue expanding further are a huge milestone for us. We are the only Malaysian institution and the first Asian company working in Eastern Europe, which has never been surpassed by anyone before. We will continue our conquest in Europe and soon expand to other parts of Asia.
Due to our rapid expansion, we decided to consolidate all activities that of the airline recruitment consultancy to aircraft leasing under one umbrella. This then led to the formation of Inter-Excel Advisory Sdn. Bhd. We are in the midst of franchising our flight attendant preparatory course globally and lately, Assisting upcoming airlines in the areas of aircraft leasing and acquisition. This is a major milestone in our history as we are the first Malaysian company to accomplish these achievements.
